R.I.P Stanley Greene

my photo albums unfortunately without autograph… I had no guts to ask… had occasion twice… at TPW in Italy and in Perpignan. I never met more passionate photographer, so dedicated to his work. He would scream and get furious if he felt someone didn’t take the assignment seriously. I am proud he was my teacher and I have learned so much from him. He will be missed. R. I. P Stanley… / Open Wound cover photo… will always be the most powerful photo I have ever seen.

Seems like I am getting better and better with photos of jewellery 😉 … last year my photo was featured by Meadowlark, and just yesterday another one by The Great Frog.

It’s a great deal for me since The Great Frog has long list of celebrity clients (Lemmy, Bruce Dickinson, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and many more, full list).

We visited their shop (just a few days after Arnold Schwarzenegger did some serious shopping there, what you can find out from Instagram feed and their blog) in LA at Melrose Avenue twice. Both of the times, we received great service! Victor was sizing up and down his ring a few times, so big thank you for the patience 🙂 of the lovely ladies in the shop.

The location looks great… and I would literally like to buy all their shop.. including jewellery, t-shirts, leather products and photos Ross Halfin’s photos.

Cheers, from Lemmy (above) and me! 🙂

Just before the elections for a new American president , we (Victor and I) were lucky enough to visit USA (California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah).

What to say? States are great..  as Victor says, and I can only repeat after him – the trip was F A B U L O U S.

I have been in States a few times before (Alaska, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Chicago, NY a couple of times)… but never on the road trip like this.

Those 3 weeks were definitely  the best time of my life. Such beautiful landscapes! Red Rock Canyon (and Las Vegas itself!), Joshua Tree, The Salvation Mountain, Yosemite, highway #1, The Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Zion Park, Death Valley!!!… and many , many more…

Still.. very hard to get back to the reality…

Saudi Aramco World posted yesterday my photo on it’s instagram.

Photographer Aga Luczakowska, @aluczakowska, captured this moment as girls prepared their traditional dresses to dance in a Tatar folk group in Bialystok, Poland, published in “Poland’s New Tatar Trail,” May/June 2014. Tatars in Poland are the survivors of centuries of wars and, most recently, nearly a century of communist political repression of religion, traditions and language. Yet, historic identities endure, and the region in far eastern Poland is receiving new attention for its cultural riches. #photography #Poland
